can provide your group with anything from a fully serviced event for up to 30
people to family style dishes dropped at your doorstep. Consider calling

Oceanfront - Guest Reservation and Rental Policies

- Payment -- We accept VISA, MasterCard, personal checks, traveler's
checks and cash.
- Deposit -- A 50% advance deposit
is required when making a reservation. All balances are to
be paid in full 14 days prior to check in.
- Security Deposit -- Oceanfront Events requires a
major credit card from someone over the age of 25, prior to check-in. Damages will be charged to the credit card on file.
- Confirmation -- Confirmation will be returned by mail or email. We ask that guests please
honor confirmed reservations by arriving and departing on schedule. A confirmed reservation obligates both
Oceanfront and the guest for the entire length of the stay reserved.
- Cancellation -- Rental guests are entitled to a full refund minus a 12% processing fee provided that
guests cancel reservations 6 weeks prior to the rental date. Reservations cancelled within six weeks of a
rental date will be refunded (minus a 12% processing fee) only if Oceanfront secures another renter.
Otherwise the guest is responsible for the full amount of the rental.
- Check-In Time -- 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. **Late arrivals by prior arrangement only.
- Check-Out Time -- 10:00 a.m. **Late departures
by prior arrangement only.
- Damages -- Guests are responsible for payment of damages made to The Idlewild or The MacGregor House,
room furnishings, or grounds. Charges to cover the replacement of damaged items will be applied against the guest's credit card.
- Smoking -- Smoking is not permitted at any time within The Idlewild or The MacGregor House. Smoking is
permitted on the porches and ashtrays will be provided. If you do chose to smoke in the common areas outside the house, please be
aware of the other guests and neighbors. By order of the fire marshal, lit candles are not allowed in any of the guest rooms. Any guest who
smokes or uses lit candles within the Idlewild or MacGregor House will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be provided.
- Pets -- Pets are not permitted. However, Oceanfront staff will help make local arrangements for well-behaved pets.
(Please note, vaccination records and a waiver of liability will be required.)
- Capacity -- The Idlewild can sleep 16-20 comfortably, The MacGregor House will sleep 8-11 comfortably.
